At MGTC, we recognize that every child develops physically, emotionally, and intellectually. We provide three gymnastics-based programs for children between the ages of 24 months and eighteen: preschool age gymnastics for early movement education, recreation classes for school-aged children, and USAG competition teams for those children who choose to devote themselves completely to the pursuit of excellence in our sport.
MGTC's programs utilizes movement activities and gymnastics basics to stimulate each child's sense of accomplishment and self-esteem. Every child should believe that learning is fun! Teachers actively foster self-esteem by accepting and encouraging our students and their efforts. Through physical challenges, we create a series of "success opportunities." By the end of each lesson our children will have experienced many opportunities to say "I can do it!"
Our unique gymnastics education programs, at MGTC encourages positive psychological development and provides cognitive stimulation that has been shown by the Department of Education to promote early intellectual growth. Children who participate in gymnastics and movement education classes develop sensor motor skills that have been shown to improve both reading and math acquirement.
We can't overstate the value of the simple joy of running, tumbling, swinging, balancing, jumping, flipping, and cartwheeling through childhood! The physical confidence and body awareness gained through gymnastics carries into every athletic activity your child may choose to pursue in adulthood.
